Back in 1941, grandfather planted the first 60 olive trees in the vineyard among the vines. Today, they have a total of 1350 olive trees of different varieties that grow in a specific Mediterranean microclimate with completely ecological cultivation.

Back in 1941, grandfather planted the first 60 olive trees in the vineyard among the vines. His son, Robert’s father, then planted more trees in 1987 while he was primarily engaged in growing
vegetables and producing milk. After he died in 1995, Roberto’s mother partially cleared the vineyard and planted 212 olive trees and Roberto continued this practice a few years later.

Today, on 4.5 hectare, in a location close to the family house, they have a total of 1350 olive trees of different varieties that grow in a specific Mediterranean microclimate with completely ecological cultivation. Varieties grown in the olive groves of the family farm Rota are Leccino, Frantoio, Leccio del corno, Itrana, Rošinjola and Buža.
